We have reserved 30 single rooms and 3 double rooms in the CERN Hostel for participants of the Workshop from November 1 to November 5, 2005. Rates are 55.- CHF/night (single) and 73.- CHF/night (double). The registration for these hostel rooms has been closed.
Every participants of the Workshop must have a valid visitor badge. You can get the badge either from the Reception (Building 33 - business hours) or at Entrance B (outside business hours).
Conference rooms
The workshop will be held in the Council chamber on the 2nd and 3rd of November, and in the conference room in building 40 on the 4th of November.
Directions
Entering the main building one has to walk up the stairs turning to the left. On the first floor the Council chamber is located at the end of the corridor which extends to your right. (See map)
Building 40 is the modern building located right next to the hostel. In this building the conference rooms are located in the basement and the room id is 40-ss-c01, which means that it is located in aisle C. (See map)
Workshop dinner
The workshop dinner will take place at the L'Auberge Communale in Cessy (France). The foreseen menu can be found here.
Web access at CERN
CERN provides web access to visitors via wireless network connections. Due to security incidents in the past each computer must be registered before access is granted.
